Advanced Level Massage Workshop
Course Overview
This workshop is newly expanded from the old single day course that was last offered in 2005. Now with a greater amount of time to digest, explore and journey in the wonderful healing realms, this training is possibly the most creative and free-flow way to get to closer quarters with subtle energy and with its many therapeutic applications in true holistic massage therapy. There will be a thorough grounding in the principles and characteristics of the chakras, nadis and auric fields – and investigation into how imbalances within them may, in turn, manifest as forms of dis-ease in our clients’ physical and emotional bodies. Following this, students will be guided in working with healing touch and intention; working with ‘four hands’ massage; colour and visualisation; sound, voice and breathwork and also the healing power of mantras. Please note that, whilst entirely complementary to reik training, this workshop does not contain reiki attunements.
By the end of this workshop, participants will feel more empowered to integrate a number of different healing modalities into their existing work and achieve a new confidence and creativity in their approach to holistic massage and touch therapy.
