Reiki Training
Katyayani offers Reiki attunements and training in the traditional Usui System of Reiki Healing. This elegant form of healing starts from within and provides a potent spiritual framework to access both the healing of one’s self and that of others through a connection to the flow of the Universal energy ~ Reiki.
What makes training with Katyayani particularly special is the fact that, for 2010, she has decided to work with very small groups only. This intimate style of ‘boutique training’ will ensure that each student will receive unprecedented amounts of individual attention and classroom guidance.
Course Overview
The study, or rather attunement, of Reiki occurs over 3 levels. At each level, you will discover more about the principles of Reiki, its history, symbols and of course its application as one of the purest of the healing art forms.
Each module runs over either two or three days to ensure that you not only have the space to be appropriately attuned to the Reiki vibration but that you then have plenty of time to practice and polish your new skills and awareness within a supervised classroom setting. The importance of intention and working from the heart remains at the core throughout. At the culmination of the training, you will able to apply the term "Reiki Master" to yourself and will be able to work as a professional healer at this level. The great versatility of Reiki enables it to be integrated very naturally into massage therapy or reflexology as well as being a popular therapy in its own right, of course.
Reiki 1
This module focuses primarily on awakening healing forces within your own body and on utilizing this power to effect levels of personal transformation – physical, emotional and psycho-spiritual also – within your life. At the same time, you will learn how to give a deeply relaxing full Reiki healing treatment to your friends and family. You will receive two Reiki 1 attunements as part of this 2-day weekend and become a certificated Reiki Level 1 healer.
Reiki 2
By Reiki 2, you will start to spread your wings in directing more specific Reiki symbols and techniques towards the health, help and healing of others. You will spend time exploring the first three Reiki symbols and mantras and also the principles and practice of distance healing – of other people, of other places and of other times in your own life as well. You will receive two Reiki 2 attunements as part of this 2-day weekend and, upon completion of some home study, become a certificated Reiki Level 2 healer.
Reiki Master
The Reiki Master module enters new depths of practice and connection with this extraordinary healing art and prepares you to become a healer of a first-rate professional standard. You will be introduced to the Master symbol, to psychic surgery and to the application of a number of other more advanced healing techniques. You will receive two Reiki Master attunements as part of this 3-day weekend and, upon completion of some additional home study, become a certificated Reiki Master healer.
