Having taken so many learning and healing journeys with Katyayani over the last couple of years, i can honestly say there is no teacher or therapist quite like her - not that i've ever met that's for sure. Her genuine love of what she does and shares is infectious and inspiring. Going through the Reiki training levels with her as a guide has been one of the most significant endeavours of my life (that and Satsang!) and has opened up a path to greater connectedness with Everything which i don't think could have been revealed quite so clearly without her down-to-earth style. She somehow manages to appeal to my inner-hippy and inner-scientist at the same time!! I have sung kirtan with Katyayani and also done some of her meditations and I wanted to say how great I thought they were! There is something about the way she runs sessions that seems really heart-felt and genuine and I love the way I always end up smiling by the end of them. The groups always seem really friendly too - isn't that something that that is not always the case with yoga and meditation classes, surely it should be in this sort of work? Anyway i've always felt right at home and that's a lot to do with Katyayani's personality. Thanks! And see you again soon I hope, love Sarah

I was part of the Satsang group led by Katya in 2009 and I found the experience extremely rewarding. Katya leads you through an exploration of your personal relationship with the spiritual – in whatever way you may interpret this word and at whatever level you feel you may be at. Katya acts as your guide and as your teacher. She does not preach but lets you arrive at your own conclusions through the texts and the practises she offers to you. Personally this experience opened doors in my understanding of the world and of my self – it showed me paths that were previously hidden to me. I feel greatly nourished by having been part of the Satsang circle – thank you. hi how are you ? is it everything ok? I miss the weds !!!! I reckon I may have a "decent" idea of the next few events(as far as my concerns )....but..as you know..I am NEVER sure enough !LOL so....if I get correctly..the first event for me is..monday 18 may 2pm river house ? the second is in victoria may the 22nd....4pm? after that...........we'll take from there !! A whole day of yoga, yoga nidra and chant left me feeling quietly jopyful and profoundly peaceful. For me the yoga was a perfect start to polishing my energy and letting it flow freely. I had never experienced yoga nidra and this is when I began to feel a deeper sense of quietness and peace but at the same time, a wonderment at how I felt following Kayta words and how I could move my energy around my body. This was topped with another, quite new, experience of chanting. I just didn't think about how I sounded I enjoyed the experience and with that I could feel the joy within my body start to bubble upwards the more I sang. This was a truely fabulous expereicne and I look forward to my next with Katya.
